Hugh Baird died at his home here this morning after extended illness, aged 87. Oldest Mason in Western Pa., early settler here. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. E. P. Thorne of Youngstown and Miss Tillie Baird, at home.
Hugh was postmaster in Sandy Lake. He and Margaret had three daughters: Martha (1846-1887) married to R. Hugh McCullough; Mary (1848-1940) married to Emlen P. Thorn (1839-1909) lived in Warren, Ohio, in 1930; and Matilda (1850-1923)
