Roselle Asbell Bublitz, age 88, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties in Chiefland, FL. Roselle was born on September 06, 1923 in Trenton, FL. to James Shelton Asbell & Ila Watson Asbell. She was a lifelong resident of the tri-county area was of the Baptist faith and she worked for the Trenton Coca-Cola Bottling Company as a secretary until the day they closed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Shelton Asbell & Ila Watson Asbell, her husband, Lyle Bublitz, her daughter, Harriett Read, a sister, Alene Colson and 4 brothers: Enoch Asbell, Robert Asbell, Duke Asbell & infant brother L.M. Asbell.
She is survived by her son, Francis (Sandy) Akins of Bronson, FL., a step-daughter, Donna Bublitz of Phoenix, AZ. 3 sisters; Carolyn (Griffin) Morgan & Maryann Griner both of Trenton, FL., & Jetty Blake of Chiefland, FL, 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren, and many loving nieces & nephews.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Asbell Cemetery with Pastor Greg Douglas officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Youth Served by Twin Oaks Juvenile Development, Inc. P.O. Box 68, Bristol, FL. 32321.
