Audie Vernell Ford 81,of Texarkana, Texas died Wednesday April 14,2004 in a local hospital. Mrs. Ford was born October 2,1922 in Amity, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Community Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard F. Ford. Survivors include three sons, Joe Ford and Henry Ford of Redwater, Texas; and David Ford of New Boston, Texas; three daughters, Martha Beasley, Bernice Adams and Ernestine Allgor of Texarkana; one sister, Myrtle Sizemore of California; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. today at Redwater First Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Rice officiating. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery,under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
