Glenn Burdell Roundy, 86, died March 17, 2012, in American Fork, Utah. He was born December 30, 1925 in Winter Quarters, Utah to Hyrum Waldo and Mary Ann Price Roundy. He married Maxine Smith April 20, 1949; their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Glenn was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather; fulfilled multiple callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; participated in local political committees and water board; and served on the hospital board.
He is survived by his five children: Jay (Elaine) Roundy; Kathleen Roundy Oscarson; Jill (Kevin) Edwards; Janet Roundy; Karen (Conrad) Caldwell; 19 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and sister Shirlene Stratton. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine; his parents; five brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork with a viewing starting at 10 a.m. prior to the service.
