Maxine Smith Roundy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away July 31, 2011 in Provo, Utah at the age of 81.

Born February 13, 1930 in Alpine, UT to Jay Arthur and Vera Gledhill Smith.

She married Glenn Burdell Roundy April 20, 1949 in Lehi, UT and their marriage was solemnized April 18, 1951 in the Salt Lake LDS temple.

Mom loved genealogy and was a wonderful homemaker. She loved art and excelled at many different crafts.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and loved serving in many positions. She loved being a Stake Missionary and serving as a temple worker in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.

Mom's focus was the love of her family and loved doing things for them.

Maxine is survived by Jay (Elaine) Roundy, Kathy Oscarson, Jill (Kevin) Edwards, Janet Roundy, Karen (Conrad) Caldwell; 19 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and a brother, Jerry Arnold.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork.

Friends may call Thursday from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the services.

Burial in Alpine Cemetery.
