My Beloved Aunt

Dorothy Mason, age 86, of Batesville died Sunday, March 18, 2012 in a local hospital. She was born November 8, 1925 in Lynn to William Miles Ripka and Sara Lorinda Chambless Ripka. She was a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship Church and of the Pentecostal faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charles Beauchamp; 6 sisters: Pearl Hawkin, Ollie Watson, Alice Henderson, Gracie Duncan, Alpha Payne, Dona Worthem; 2 brothers, Walter Ripka, Charles Ripka; 3 step-sons, Archie Mason, Robert Beauchamp, Gene Mason; a step-daughter, Ramona Roofe; a grandson, and a great granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Mason; a son, Paul David Beauchamp and wife Flora; a step-son, Kenneth Mason and wife Kathleen of Batesville; 3 daughters, Deloris Tharp and husband Jim of West Plains, MO, Naomi Price of Batesville, Sherita Johnson and husband Daniel (Paul) of Drasco; 2 step-daughters, Paulette Reid and husband John, Jane Martin, and husband G.A. of Harrison; 21 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several other step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Services are set for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Full Gospel Church with David Adams and Barbara Bullard officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Lee Chapel Cemetery on White Drive.
