Mary E. Chrin, 89, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Stephen J. Chrin. Born in Lebanon, on August 25, 1922, Mary was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Rose (Stroh) Hartnett. She was a 1940 graduated of Lebanon Catholic High School. Mary was an active member of St. Mary's Church and was very devoted to her family. She is survived by two children, Margaret A., wife of Ralph Hayden, and Dennis D., husband of Lynn Chrin; a sister-in-law, Margaret Albright; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and cousins, nieces, and nephews, including a very special niece, Kathy Carnes, who has always been incredibly devoted to Mary. She was preceded in death by a son, John; two sisters, Rita Hartnett and Rose McCurdy; and a brother, Gerald Hartnett. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon 17046. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Church. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements. Published in Lebanon Daily News on March 18, 2012
