Jackson--While standing before a dresser getting ready to go to church Sunday evening, Miss Alvina Propst, 18 years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.O. Probst, of near Conrad's Mill in Bollinger County, collapsed suddenly and died four hours afterwards without regaining consciousness. A physician said death was apparently due to a bursted blood vessel in her brain.
the body was brought to the McCombs Funeral home in Jackson and late this afternoon was taken to the family home, from where the funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon to the Methodist church at Sedgewickville. Interment will be in the cemetery there.
Miss Propst was born on the farm on which she spent her entire life. Surviving her are her parents, a brother, Tony Propst of Daisy, and four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Seabaugh, Mrs. Beulah Crites and Miss Helen Propst of Friedheim, and Miss Lola Propst of Cape Girardeau.
