"MISS NORMA MCCOY
Miss Norma McCoy was born July 26, 1911, the only daughter of Daisy Welch and Alfred McCoy.
She departed this life, August 23, 1978, at the St. Luke's hospital in Kansas City, Mo., after an illness of several weeks, at the age of 67 years and 27 days.
She spent most of her life, on the farm, near Creighton, with her parents.
When her father's health failed the famil moved to Harrisonville, Mo., to be near the doctor. After his death, Norma and her mother moved back to Creighton. Norma was devoted to her parents and lovingly cared for them throughout their life time. A short time after her mother's death, Norma moved from Creighton to Harrisonville, where she lived until she entered the hospital, July 12, 1978, at Harrisonville and later was transferred to the St. Luke's hospital in Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
She leaves to mourn her passing an aunt, Mrs. Bernice Allbritten and one uncle, Austin Masonbrink, several cousins and friends.

Graveside services were held Friday morning, August 25, 1978, at the Grant cemetery, north of Creighton, Mo., with the Rev. ron White officiating, under the direction of the Atkinson-Dickey Funeral Home of Garden City, Mo."
