A life-long resident of Blackville, Dave was a son of the late Judson David Bodiford, Sr. and Theo Lott Bodiford. He graduated from Blackville High School, attended the University of South Carolina, worked for the Bank of Williston, was a very successful farmer, an avid outdoorsman and served on numerous agricultural boards. Dave was a life-long member of the Blackville First Baptist Church and was recognized as having perfect attendance in Sunday School for 42 years.
Survivors include sister, Barbara B. and Sonny Still; brother, Bill and Jan Bodiford all of Blackville; nieces and nephew, Cynthia Still Boots, Henry David "Hal" Still V, Audrey and Cort Neureuther, Geni B. and T. J. Hutson, a number of great and great, great nieces and nephews.
