MARKED TREE -- Danny Lawrence, 47, of Marked Tree died Thursday, Oct. 13, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
He had lived in Paragould for 24 years before moving to Marked Tree in June. He was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse and was a certified social worker.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lawrence of the home; five daughters, Latish Dowdy of Paragould, Sheena Lawrence of Osceola, and Amber Lawrence, Molly Lawrence and Abigail Lawrence, all of Marked Tree; three sons, Allen Lawrence, Joshua Lawrence and Samuel Lawrence, all of Marked Tree; a brother, Billy Lawrence of Payneway; and two grandchildren, Jonathan Dowdy and Jonavon Dowdy, both of Paragould.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mattie Lawrence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Apostolic Lighthouse in Paragould with Wayne Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Adam Criswell, Robert March, Bob Carroll, Jeffery Criswell, Phillip Criswell, Samuel Criswell, Jonathan Dowdy and Robert Wagner.
Honorary pallbearers will include Farrell Timms and Brian Malone.
Visitation will be from 5 -- 7 p.m. today at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
