Martha is the daughter of John D McClellan and his first wife Mary Ann Hooker. She was born 1838 in Stokes County, NC and family moved to Russell Co, Va by 1850 census. He married Mary Ann 3/15/1859 in Scott County, VA. She must have died in the early 1870's. John D McClellan then married Mary Dean 5/23/1875 in Scott County. Mary Dean is sister of Martha's husband Russell. Please correct the info on her and Russell's pages. Thank you.:) info per
