Walter Lee Craig, 90, of Martinsville, died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 1996 at his home in Martinsville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Greenwell Funeral Home, Martinsville. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Martinsville. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, at the funeral home.
He was born August 22, 1905 in Martinsville to Rory Craig and Ruth Poe Craig. He was married in 1929 to Mabel Zachary.
Surviving are his wife, Mabel Zachary Craig of Martinsville; son, Bob Craig of Marshall; brother, Don Craig of Martinsville; sister, Lillian Davidson of DeLand, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grand-children; and four great-great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lela Dean.
Memorials may be made to the Lincolnland Visiting Nurses.
