Edith Hollingsworth, 85, of Martinsville, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 30, 1993) in the Heartland Manor in Casey.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville with the Rev. George Nika officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.
She was born Jan. 8, 1908 in Martinsville, a daughter of Roy and Ruth Poe Craig. She married John Hollingsworth in 1938. He died in 1971.
Surviving are two sons, Jack L. Hollingsworth of Martinsville and John L. Hollingsworth Jr., of Kingman, Ariz.; a daughter, Rosalie Hardway of Martinsville; two brothers, Don Craig and Walter Craig, both of Martinsville; a sister, Lillian Davidson of Deland, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Hollingsworth was retired from the Ettelbrick Shoe Co., of Casey.
