"OBITUARY - Georgianna Jackson - Georgianna, wife of Neil B Jackson, died of uraemic poisoning, May 28, 1911, at the home of her sister, Mrs J E Kenny. Mrs Jackson was born at Sanford, April 25, 1889. On Jan 20, 1910, she was united in marriage to Neil B Jackson of Grand Valley. [On] March 1, 1911, a baby daughter came to brighten their young hearts, but the Dear Lord willed it otherwise and took it home. Since that time she was a constant sufferer, but bore all suffering patiently. Often wishing in times of intense suffering that if it was not the Lord's will that she should recover that He might take her home at once. Her only regret was that she must leave the dear husband who was so devoted and cared for her so tenderly through all her long illness. She was prepared and not afraid to meet her Saviour. Comforting the sorrowing husband with the assurance that she would soon be with her darling baby and the time would not be long until he would join them. She is survived by her husband and father, George Van Guilder, and two sisters, Mrs E E Fetterolf of Sanford and Mrs J E Kenny of Grand Valley. Funeral services were held at the U B church at Grand Valley, Rev Bennett officiating. Interment in Sanford cemetery. [Grand Valley, Pa, June 3, 1911]"
