CLYDE, July 8 - Body of Pfc. Kenneth Ernsberger casualty of World War II, arrived at the Mitchell Funeral Home Thursday where services were held this afternoon, the Rev. Perry Neldon, officiating. Orrin G. Franks Post, American Legion, conducted rites. Burial was in the soldiers plot of McPherson Cemetery. Pfc. Ernsberger was a gunner with the field artillery and was stationed in Ireland prior to the African invasion in which he took part. He war in the landing on Sicily and fought up the Italian peninsula with the fifth Army. Before his induction in 1942 he attended Clyde school and was employed by the J. and M. Machine Co. He had been married to Ora Mae Dewey, Sandusky, on a furlough home. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Ernsberger, his widow; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Stahl, Mooseheart, Ill.; Mrs. Blanche Waggoner, Bryan and Mrs. Helen Gilbert, Clyde and two brothers, Harry and Francis Ernsberger, both Clyde.
