Ora Mae Barron 92 of Jefferson City passed away Saturday October 26, 2013 at St Joseph's Bluffs. She was born April 20, 1921 in Monroe Michigan, the daughter of Otis Irving and Agnus Amelia(Smith) Dewey. She was a 1939 graduate of Sandusky High School in Sandusky Ohio.

On February 27, 1945 Ora was united in marriage in Napolean Ohio to Robert S. Barron who survives of the home.

She was employed with the International Shoe Factory from 1945-1952 and with Chesebrough Ponds from 1952 until her retirement in 1987.

Ora enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and taking care of her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of over 68 years, Robet, she is survived by one son, Bobby Barron of Winfield Kansas, one daughter, Jeannie Barron Shaw and husband Rob of Overland Park Kansas, three grandchildren, Sarah Barron of Wichita Kanas, Jordan Shaw of San Francisco,California, Riley Shw of Kansas City Mo. and one great granddaughter, Ashley Barron of Wichita KS.

Friends will be received from 1-2p.m. Wednesday October 30, 2013 at the Houser Millard Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 2p.m. with Chaplain Jim Mueller officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
