Vernon Teeter, 66, of Liberty Corners died suddenly following a heart attack at his home Sunday afternoon. He was born in Evergreen, the son of Fred and Minnie Emory Teeter on March 11, 1899. Mr. Teeter was a lumberman. However, he suffered a fracture of his back about 20 years ago and has been in poor health since that time. He was a member of the Salvation Army.

Mr. Teeter is survived by his wife, the former Carrie Guldenshuh; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Lamphere of Towanda, Mrs. Hila Macey of Pacheco, Calif., and Mrs. Grace Dinelli of Liberty Corners; two sons, Lt. Richard Teeter of Virginia City, Va., and Fred Teeter if Liberty Corners; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Allen of New Albany and Mrs. Laura Stevens of Mercur; two brothers, Ivan of Dushore and Carlyle of Overton; 21 Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Miller Funeral Home Wednesday Afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. William W. Kauffman, pastor of the Liberty Corners Methodist Church, will officiate assisted by Brigadier Frank Guldenschuh, Salvation Army, retired.
