CARRIE GULDENSCHUH TEETER, 90 widow of Vernon C. Teeter of Liberty Corners, Towanda RR 4 died Sunday evening, Dec. 29, 2002 at the Bradford County Manor, West Burlington Township. Born July 7, 1912 in Towanda she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Anna Bristol Guldenschuh. Carrie attended the Towanda Schools and in early years was employed by the Berlinger Silk Mill in Towanda. On Jan. 1, 1930 she married Vernon C. Teeter. Mr. and Mrs. Teeter made their home in Liberty Corners operating a dairy farm there for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon on March 27, 1965. Carrie was a member of the Liberty Corners United Methodist Church. Surviving are: two sons and daughters-in-law, Fred L. and Joy Teeter of Auburn, Pa. and Richard E. and Phyllis Teeter of Liberty Corners; a daughter, Grace Dinelli of Liberty Corners; a stepdaughter and her husband, Hila and Kenneth Macey of Sacramento, Calif., numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Grace Samson of Hagerstown, Md.; a special niece, Joan Teeter of Troy RR 3 and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sherlyn Teeter Trickel Murray on Nov. 27, 2002 and three brothers, Frank, Walter and Arthur Guldenschuh. The funeral and committal service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003 at 1 p.m. at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda with the Rev. Robert Martin officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Corners Cemetery, Monroe Township. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Thursday afternoon at the funeral home. –Towanda Daily Review
