Endicott: Charlie Putrino, 76, of Endicott, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012, at the Ideal Senior Living Center. He was predeceased by his parents, Domonic and Emma Putrino; his brother, Sonny Putrino; his 2nd wife, Virginia Putrino; his step-son, John Staples. He is survived by his wife, Ellie Putrino; his son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Selma Putrino of Lockwood, NY; his step-children, Joseph Hoke, Thomas (Christine) Hoke, Joy Garris, Zigmund (Jodi) Calvasina, Michael (Ann Marie) Calvasina, Rick (Cathy) Calvasina; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Raymond Wolfson; special cousins, Marie and Larry Croll; special friend, Ken Ceplo; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retired employee of IBM, a member of St. Casimir's Church, Endicott and an avid hunter and golfer. The family extends sincere thanks to Gary and Donna Yesensky and Joanne Hickey for everything that they did. A memorial mass will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Casimir's Church, 212 N. McKinley Ave., Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to either St. Casimir's Memorial Fund, 212 N. McKinley Ave., Endicott, NY 13760 or the Humane Society, 2 Jackson St., Binghamton, NY 13903.
