Formerly of Endwell: Wilma C. (Alexander) Perrone, 83, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Willow Point Nursing Facility. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred; her sons, Mark and Frederick; her grandson, Greg; her niece, Nancy Alexander; and her brother, Walter J. Alexander, MD. She is survived by her son, Greg L. Perrone of Binghamton; granddaughter, Tina; two nephews, Fred & Connie Alexander of Vestal, and Vincent Perrone; two nieces, Elaine Stone of West Palm Beach, FL, and Veronica Pollack. She was a member of St. Joseph's Lithuanian Church. Wilma was a former employee of Rose Unit Parts, Marine Midland Bank and the Fireside Motor Lodge. She loved floral arranging and gardening and was happy to share gardening tips with her friends and neighbors. The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving and compassionate care Wilma received these past three years at Willow Point Nursing Home, most especially the caregivers on South 3, who were like family to her. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, NY. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Willow Point Memorial Fund or to Lourdes Hospice.
