Edward is the son of John and Joanna German. He married Nellie A Doolin, 24 Jan 1905, and together they had three children: Helen Bernice, (Miner Hannaford, Hays, Kansas) Oren Edward, and Mary Doolin German. Edward was a farmer. The last record available for him is the 1940 census where he is listed as living with his sister Emma. It is believed that he died in Illinois where his children were living.

(information from a family member thought he was blind at the end of his life and that he may have been cremated and his ashes sprinkled on Nellie's grave. (He was a Lutheran, and I believe only Catholic's are buried at Calvary Catholic Cemetery where Nellie and Oren Edward are buried) If you have specific information about his date of death and burial, please contact me to update memorial)
Have located the burial location from his funeral write ups:
He died at Hilltop Rest Haven in White Hall.
Services at St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Roodhouse.
Burial Calvary Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Appears he wasn't cremated.

His wife, Nellie Doolin German is buried without a tombstone, so I am guessing he was too.
