Thomas H. Goodale
ROY- Thomas Hyrum Goodale, 88, of 4515 W. 5500 S., died Wednesday evening in the Weber Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
Mr. Goodale was born Jan, 29, 1884, in Ogden, a son of Hyrum and Sarah Jane Etherington Goodale.
He was married to Polly Edith Nelson on June 30, 1913, in Farmington, Utah. She died March 29, 1966.
He was reared and educated in Ogden and attended Weber Academy.
He was a former employe of the Ogden Brown Factory and Hill Air Force Base, and had operated a farm in Roy.
Surviving are two sons and four daughters, Jack Goodale, Roy, Ray N. Goodale, Smyrna, Ga., Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) Heide, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ruth Harper, Ogden; Mrs. Norman J. (Helen) Secrist, Roy; Mrs. Merlin (Frances) Buck, Slaterville; 15 grandchildren; four great - grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marie L. Clark, River Edge, N. J.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary with Bishop Ronald R. Smout of Slaterville Ward officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Burial will be in the Aultarest Memorial Park.
