Renee' Stewart Millett, our loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at her home on the morning of March 13, 2012 after a long illness and valiant battle. She has completed her time on earth and has gone on to reunite with her departed loved ones including her mom and dad and oldest son whom she loved and missed.

Renee' was born on December 29, 1932 in Washington D.C. to Elva Gagon and George Emery Stewart, Jr.

Renee' lived most of her life in Roosevelt, Utah. It was here that she grew up and raised her family. She married John D. Chasel and together they had 6 children whom she loved dearly. They were later divorced. Renee' moved to St. George, Utah in 1988 where she met and later married Therrol S. Millett in the St. George Temple. They lived in St. George the remainder of her life.

Renee' was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions through out her life. She had a strong testimony of the gospel and had a deep unwavering love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. She would want others to know that it was this and the love of her family that sustained her through her many physical trials.

Renee' was blessed with many talents and did everything she attempted to do very well. Before her physical body became riddled with illness, Renee' lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel, entertain, dance, decorate, quilt, sew and do all kinds of crafts. Renee' was an amazing cook, florist and seamstress. She was an avid reader and wrote beautiful poetry. She loved to play games with friends and family and had a wonderful sense of humor. Renee' always enjoyed a good laugh. Even in her final days she found ways to smile often and offer a small laugh when she could. Renee' loved animals and always had a dog by her side. Most of all, Renee' loved her family and considered them her greatest blessings. Her family will dearly miss her, including her best furry friends "Misty and Danny Boy". Renee' was a friend to all and welcomed everyone into her home and family with open arms. She had a tender heart and always helped those in need.

She is survived by her husband Therrol; five children: Kathy (Wayne) Boydstun, Layton, UT, Jerry Chasel, Santa Fe, NM, MaryAnne Chasel, Orem, UT, Doug (Melissa) Chasel, Layton, UT, Cindy (Michael) Duvall, Provo, UT; 13 grandchildren: Stephanie, Brandon, Dustin, Grayson, Colton, Jacob, Sami, Ashley, Corbin, Joshua, Luke, Christian, and JJ., and 9 great-grandchildren; step-children: including Rebecca (Ed) Farnham, St. George, UT, Sam Millett, Las Vegas, NV, Matt (Lorie) Millett, South Jordan, UT; step-grandchildren including Morgan, Madison, and Conner; two sisters, MaryEllen Gardner, St. George, UT and Nancy Gonzalez, Las Vegas, NV; and many nieces and nephews.
