George W. Clark, seventy-five years old, a lifelong resident of Olean, died at ten-thirty o'clock today at his home, 1225 Brook street. Mr. Clark had been ill for eight weeks, death following a stroke of apoplexy.
He was an employee of the Olean Tile Company, having been at work up to the time of his last illness, two months ago.
Mr. Clark is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cassie Clark; one daughter, Mrs. T.M. Comfort of Olean; one son, Kenneth S. Clark of Elmira.
