Mrs. Hairgrove died in a Plainview Hospital on March 22. She had been a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Van Hairgrove, Camarillo, CA; Roland Hairgrove, Hereford; Rev. Kenneth Hairgrove, Wall, South Dakota; and Mike Hairgrove, Bryan; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Steinfath, Plainview; two sisters, Mrs. Garvy Boothe, Spur and Mrs. Pete Sampson. Three brothers, Vernon Carleton, Port Lavaca; Hilburn Carleton, Hobbs, NM; and Lowery Carleton, Missouri. 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers included W.L. Singleton, Paul Marion, Lafayette Robinson, Joe Draper, W.F. Gilbert, and Lloyd Hindman.
Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
