Ray D. Collier, 35, of Elizabethville, a member of the borough council since January, died Friday of a heart attack at his home. Mr. Collier , an engineer for the Commonwealth Telephone Co., was a member of the United Church of Crist and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nancy J. Buffington Collier; 3 daughters, Suzanne Rae, Patti Jo, and Sally Jane, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Collier, Elizabethville; 2 sisters, Mrs. Calvin Mauser, Elizabethville R. D. and Miss Patricia Ann Collier, Elizabethville; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Bessie Collier, Elizabethville; and maternal grandfather, Harry F. Weaver, Elizabethville R. D.

Services will be held Monday at the funeral home, Elizabethville, with Rev. James G. Reed, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
