Verna M. Bricker Swartz, 83, of Dauphin Manor, formerly of Middletown, died Thursday in Harrisburg Hospital.

She was retired from the Hershey Chocolate Co. molding department and was a member of Chocolate Workers Union Local 464.

She was the widow of William H. Swartz. Surviving are two sons, Mervin H. Strominger of Lebanon and Raymond L. Strominger Sr. of Campbelltown; three daughters, Vivian Ayers and Doris E. Behm, both of Palmyra, and Shirley J. MacCormack of Middletown; six brothers, Russell Bricker Sr. of Middletown, Marlin Bricker of Wormleysburg, and Harvey, John, Paul and Harry Bricker, all of Hummelstown; three sisters, Mary Holbert and Arlene Brunner, both of Hummelstown, and Dorothy Potteiger of Highspire; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Hummelstown. Burial will be in Fishburn Cemetery, Hershey.
