Special to the Union. (1934) Epsom. Jan. 30 - Death came to Mrs. Annie B. Yeaton on Monday evening, January 29, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice B. Silver. Mrs. Yeaton, who was the oldest resident of Epsom, was in her 93rd year. She was born in Chichester on March 14, 1841, the daughter of Asa T. Rowell and Abigail S. Moulton Rowell. As a girl she attended school in Chichester and high school in Epsom. She later taught in the schools of her native town. On May 8, 1872, she was married to Daniel Yeaton, and that fall moved into the house on Black Hall Road, where she made her home for nearly 60 years. In early life she united with the Chichester Congregational Church and after coming to Epsom joined the Epsom Baptist church. She was clerk of the Epsom church for a long term of years, and was an active worker in the interests of the church and Sunday school. She has been a faithful attendant at the Sunday services as long as her health permitted. She is survived by three children, Alfred D. Yeaton of Chicago, Ill., Minet R. Yeaton of Flemington, N.J., and Mrs. Alice B. Silver of Epsom, also three grandchilfren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Epsom Baptist Church Thursday afternoon, and burial will be in the family lot in the Gossville Cemetery.
