Lovottia Mae "Sissy" Graham, 64, of Southside Hinton died Monday March 9, 2009 at her home following a long illness.
Born December 26, 1944 in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Alvie & Margaret Adkins Bennett.
Sissy was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was a lifelong resident of Hinton.
She was preceded in death by one son, Brian Keith Lemon. Two daughters, Linda Bennett & Teresa Lemon.
Survivors include her husband, Wilmer "Pogo" Graham. Five sons, Benny Lee Lemon, Jr. & companion Flora Adkins, Scott D. Lemon, Robert "Peanut" Graham and James Graham all of Hinton and Jackie Lemon of Ft. Wayne, IN. Two daughters, Patricia A. Smith & husband Ernie of Hinton and Crystal Graham & companion Hubert Copeland of Pence Springs. Three brothers, Meridith Bennett of Hinton, William J. Bennett of Sam Black and Tommy Michael Bennett of Hinton. One sister, Dreama Martin of Jumping Branch. Fifteen grandchildren & seven great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 12, 2009 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastors Lawrence Bennett & Ray Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Cemetery on Tug Creek Road near Hinton. Friends may call from 6 until 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Family & friends will serve as pallbearers.
