Mrs. Hazel Quinnell, 69, a former Madison resident, died Thursday (Feb. 3, 1966) in New York City.

Mrs. Quinnell came to Madison after the death of her husband, Percy, in California. She lived here with a son, Bruce H. Myers, 3855 Clover lane, until moving to New York three years ago to live with another son, Foster C. Myers.

She was graduated from La Crosse Normal Teachers college and taught in Elroy for a number of years.

In addition to Foster and Bruce, she is survived by two other sons, William B. Myers, Santa Monica, Calif.; and Robert O. Myers, Verona; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce J. Blok, 353 W. Badger rd.; and Mrs. Arthur Frisch, Santa Mónica, Calif; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd P. Brown, 2574 Hoard st., and Ruth Osborn, Augusta; a brother, Willard, Augusta; 25 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Gunderson funeral home, 5203 Monona dr., with the Rev. A. L. Braunschieg, pastor of St. James' Lutheran Church of Verna, officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
