Funeral services for Hattie Markham, who died Wednesday at the home of a sister, Ethel Lee, will be held Sunday at 1:30 o'clock at Ward Chapel, A.M.E. Church. She was a member of a pioneer family of the Cherokee Nation and was reared near Chouteau. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Mary Markham, a daughter, Christine Wetherspoon, sisters, Ethel Lee and Nan Groves and Myra Hershe; three brothers, Cpl. Augustus Markham, Camp Maxie, Tex., William Markham, Muskogee and Jess Markham, Chouteau, Okla. Granger's have charge and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
