Funeral services for Mrs. Eugene Lynch, 80, of 1609 Chadbourne Ave., who died Sunday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Schroeder Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave. here. The Rev. Richard Larson of Bethel Lutheran Church will officiate. The former Melanie Palm was born in Helenville in 1889 but had been a Madison resident for many years. She was a former employe of Norris Lea furriers and Simpson's clothing store. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Roscoe G. Kern, Chicago, and Gerald O. Kern, Fontana, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Alma Brockway, Palsboro, N. J.; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Schroeder Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
