Pauline Huffman Gray, 97, of 1150 Barbours Creek Road at New Castle, Virginia, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at her home.
Mrs. Gray was born May 13, 1914, in Craig County, a daughter of the late Dorsey Huffman, Sr. and Maude Craft Huffman.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gray in 1983, and by her daughter, Shirley Elmore; two grandsons, Douglas Elmore and W. L. Elmore, and seven brothers and sisters.
She was an employee of the former Industrial Rayon Corp in Covington and served as a cook at Camp Easter Seal in Craig County for a number of years. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons: Eugene D. Gray of New Castle, James D. Gray of Roanoke and William D. Gray of Stewartsville; nine grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and one brother, Jack Huffman of Phoenix, AZ.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Arritt Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Hall officiating.
Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.
