Mrs. Hamilton dies at Clifton Springs
Wife of Prof. James H. Hamilton of Syracuse University

Mrs. Maud Hume Hamilton, wife of Prof James Henry Hamilton of Syracuse University, died suddenly at 10 o'clock Thursday evening at the Clifton Springs Sanitarium, Clifton Springs, N.Y. of heart failure. She had been at the sanitarium but a few days. The body arrived in this city at 4:30 o'clock last night.
Prof. and Mrs. Hamilton, whose home was at Clifton, N.Y., were married June 20, 1890 and came to Syracuse in 1894, when Prof. Hamilton was elected professor of political economy in the University, since which they have resided at No. 808 University avenue. Besides her husband and one sister, Mrs. Hamilton is survived by one child.
The funeral will be held at her late home, No. 808 University avenue, at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Rev. Dr. E.N. Packard, pastor of Plymouth Congregational Church will officiate.
