Mrs. Maud M Berry, 74, of St. Bernice, passed away at the home of her son Charles Grant Hale with whom she made her home with. Sunday at 10:50 p.m. fowlling a short illness.
Maud Margaret Francis was born on March 12,1895 in Marshall, Ill. to James Riley and Mary E. Francis.
She married Oaklen Warren Hale on March 14, 1914 in Vermillion County, Indiana with that union they had five children.
Oaklen Warren Hale passed away on Sept. 24, 1941.
She later married William Edgar Berry of Hillsboro, Indiana. They was married on April 4,1942 in St. Louis, Missouri.
William Edgar Berry passed away on March 2,1960. After her second husband death she moved in with her son Charles and his family until her death.
She proceded in death with her parents, James & Mary Francis; Her first husband; Oaklen Warren Hale; Her second husband William Edgar Berry and two daughters; Violet Mozilla Hale, Infant daughter.
Survivors include three sons and there wife's; Charles Grant & Ellen Jane (Pankow) Hale of St. Bernice, Indiana, Edward Everett & Artith (Terry) Hale of Aloha, Oregon, Edgar Sumner & Helen (Muenwindsman) Hale of Indianapolis, Indiana. 11 grandchildren and one great grand child. Two brothers; Amos Francis of Covington, Indiana and Lyman Francis of Georgetown, Ill.
Her body was taken to Frist Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday
