Elgar served in the United State Navy
and also in the United States Army.He was employed with AT&T than it was call Indiana Bell for 21 years and retiring in 1989.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, his son John Hale, and two brothers: Charles Grant Hale of Indiana and Edward Everett Hale of Organ.
He is survived by his loving wife "Helen" (Muenwindsman) Hale and by family and friends. Will be sadly miss by all.
