LEESVILLE Elvena S Bickley, loving mother and grandmother passed away in the eternal arms of her savior Jesus Christ on February 4, 2018 after a long illness. She was 86 years old. Born September 21, 1931 she was the daughter of Clarence and Eva Lee Harmon. She retired from the State Retirement System after 39 years of service. She was a member of Boiling Springs Methodist Church in Lexington. She served as a Sunday school teacher and on several committees at the church. Elvena is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Bradley (Mike) and Susan O'Neill (Patrick). 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Brothers David Harmon, Clarence Harmon, and John Marshall Harmon. Sisters Blanche Price, Connie Lindler, Murville Amick and Madelyn Pryor and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, Bernard Steele and Willard Bickley, son Ronnie Steele and Forrest Steele, brother Buddy Harmon and sister Nancy Prince. Services will be held Thursday February 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Boiling Springs Methodist Church with burial in the Steele Family Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth W Prill officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 7, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Caughman Harman Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boiling Springs Methodist Church 2373 Calks Ferry Rd. Lexington, SC 29072. Caughman Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
