He served in World War I from July 25, 1918, to Jan 22, 1919. On Nov. 9, 1919, he married Alvina Reinhardt. They had six children. Mr. Michel was a farmer most of his life. In 1958, he retired and moved to 726 Margaret St. He became ill three months ago, entering the hospital on Nov. 2.
Survivors are his widow and four children, Leon, Albert. Kan., Mrs. Dale (Esther) Morris, Sheridan, Wyo., Wilmer, Norcator, and Donald of Russell. Also a sister, Mrs. Sophia Strecker, and five brothers, Fred, Peter, William, Ruben, and Leo, all of Russell.
