Brenda K. Fritz, 65, of Mountville, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at home. She was the wife of William F. Fritz with whom she would have celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary on April 21, 2012. She was born in Chambersburg, daughter of the late John A. Wenger and Ruth L. Heisey Hensel, Mechanicsburg. Brenda was a bank teller at Fulton Bank for 15 years, having retired in 2011. She was also the church secretary for Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church. She was a member of Mountville Church of the Brethren, the church choir and the Grandmothers Club. She was also a member of Amvets, Post #19 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother, two sons: Brian (Jennifer) Frey, Lancaster and Gregg (Leah Bacon) Frey, Lancaster. Two stepsons: Eric (Anita) Fritz, Strasburg and Scott (Brandy) Fritz, Pittsburgh. Eight grandchildren and one sister, Linda (Ethelbert) Byers, Chambersburg.
The Funeral Service will be held at Mountville Church of the Brethren, 60 Clay St., Mountville, PA 17554 on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Rebecca Fuchs officiating. Interment will be in Clearfield United Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call at the Workman Funeral Homes, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Mountville on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and also on Monday from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church.
