Minnie was born in Staunton to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Heinemeyer on 22 Feb 1899, grew up in Staunt, nourished with true parental love and within the sacred pale of the Lutheran Zion's church, where she was baptized in childhood and confirmed in Spring 1913. Four years later, on 14 Apr 1917, she was married to Ernest Hochmuth, an industrious young man of exemplary habits, and a conjugal life of happiness and joy seemed to open before the young people, but Providence had decreed differently than was expected. Fifteen weeks ago the young wife fell victim of a treacherous disease, inflammatory rheumatism in connection with heart trouble. With progressing time the hope of recovery faded away and Tuesday morning at 1:50 o'clock relentless death closed the eyes for eternal sleep, at a time when this fragrant flower in the garden of mortals had only attained an age of 18 years, 7 months and 24 days.
