ZIMMERMAN - Winfield C. Adams, 73, died Friday at Monterey Nursing Home, Osseo, Minnesota. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Kaun Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Lester Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Baldwin Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 today at the funeral home in Princeton and from 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday.

Mr. Adams was born May 30, 1904, in Foley, Minnesota to the late Andrew and Alice Adams. He married Gertrude Hesse October 23, 1943, in Minneapolis. He was employed as a dock-worker by Raymond Brothers until his retirement and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include step-sons and step-daughter, Roy Merchant, Minneapolis; Joseph Merchant, Redfield, S.D.; Earl Merchant, Zimmerman; Mary Alice Radajewski, Brooklyn Park; brothers and sister, Raymond and David, Orville, Wash.; Mrs. Ida Merten, Mason City, Iowa; 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nov. 19, 1976, one brother, Ben, and step-son, Richard.
