William Richard Carter, 65, of Okarche, Oklahoma, died January 20, 1988. He was born in Canton, Oklahoma January 29, 1922. A member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and also of Masonic Lodge, Bethany, No. 529. He was survived by his wife, Catherine Allene of the home; children, Catherine Behrenbrinker of Piedmont, Jacalyn Hamilton and husband Lloyd of Holdenville, Jimmie Carter and wife Tina of Keene, Texas; two brothers; three sisters; and grandchildren. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel. Arrangements were through Bill Merritt, Bethany, Oklahoma.
