Service for Mildred G. Evans, 80, a longtime Eastern Washington resident, will be at 11 a.m. today at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Evans died Friday at Unicrest Convalescent Center.
Born in Lacey, Wash., she came to Ritzville, Wash., with her family as a child and graduated from Ritzville High School.
Mrs. Evans and her husband, Homer R. Evans, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 15. They had a dry-land wheat farm south of Ritzville at Ralston for many years before moving to Spokane 16 years ago.
She was a 50-year member of the Ralston Grange 943 and a member of Zion Congregational Church in Ritzville and the Spokane Iris Society.
Survivors include her husband, Homer; two daughters, Nancy G. Pulham of the Spokane Valley and Patty A. Cairns of Spokane; three sons, Darrell F. Evans and Vince H. Evans, both of Ritzville, and Roger D. Evans of Tacoma; one sisters, Glenys Burquist of Spokane; three brothers, including Wayne Anderson of the Spokane Valley and Clifford Anderson of Ritzville; 13 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
