McCAYSVILLE, Ga.-Funeral services for Samuel Emmett Sharp, 68, safety director of the Tennessee Copper Co. and founder of the Copper Basin Hospital, will be at 3:00 p.m.Tuesday at Finch chapel in McCaysville. Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Copper Hill, Tennessee.

Mr. Sharp died Sundayat Emory University Hospital.

A natice of Carrollton, Ga., and a graduate of North Georgia College, Mr. Sharp had been with the Tennessee Copper Co. for 42 years. He was the first chairman of the board of trustees of the Copper Basin Hospital and at the time of his death he was director of civil defense of Polk County, Tenn., and Fannin County, Ga.

Mr. Sharp was a member of Copper Hill First Methodist Church and DucktownLodge241, F&AM.

Services include his wife, the former Nell Garner; a daughter, Miss Eleanor Sharp, Atlanta, and a sister, Mrs. Albert Flowers, Bell Glade, Fla.
