"Cooperstown - Mrs. Cora Sperry, 86, of 6 Susquehanna Ave., widow of Loren Sperry, died yesterday at her home.

She was born in Cooperstown, daughter of James and Ella Fowler Chase. Mrs. Sperry was a teacher for many years in the Middlefield schools. She also had been employed by the Cooperstown National Bank. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had done volunteer work with the Women's Auxiliary of Bassett Hospital.

She leaves two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Lee Chase, Mohawk and Mrs. Charles Chase, Old Forge; four nephews, Lewis, Ernest and John Chase, all of Cooperstown, and Robert in California, and three neices, Mrs. Ralph (Ula) Austin, Gales Ferry, Conn.; Mrs. John (Ella) Brakey, Eagle Bay and Mrs. Donald (Amy) LaBombard, Old Forge.

The funeral will be at 2 tomorrow from the Ingalls Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hartwick Seminary Cemetery.
