Mrs. Alma G. Ellis, 63, of 1584 Lee Street E., died Sunday at her home after a long illness.
She operated the Franklin Cafe on Kanawha Boulevard. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are a son, J. E. Jr. of Charleston; a sister, Mrs. Lena Nunn of Rock Lick; a brother, Lacy Akers of Ashland, Ky.
Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bartlett Funeral Home by the Rev. John Wilkes. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
