Vincent Daversa of Fontana, a native of Worchester, Massachusetts, lived in Fontana for 70 years, died December 19 at Loma Linda University Medical Center at the age of 74; the cause of death is unknown, pending a doctor's report. He was a self-employed truck driver for the steel industry for 25 years and was survived by his three brothers, Ross of Bloomington and Tony and George and his sister, Stella, all of Fontana. Service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Montecito Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in Montecito Memorial Park.
