Mrs. Swartz, born in Gore, VA; was the daughter of the late Jerry and Ida Dunlap and widow of Luther Swartz and Harvey Swartz. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by three sons, Merle Swartz, Richard "Butch" Swartz and Robert Swartz, six brothers and five sisters.
Lillie was a member of Woodbine Assembly of Clear Brook, VA. She loved gardening, reading, cooking and spending time with family.
She is survived by one son, Bill Swartz and wife, Mary, of Clear Brook, VA; two daughters, Audrey Marpole and husband, Larry, of Inwood, WV; and Freda Shiley and husband Woody of Winchester, VA; one sister, Mildred Hartley of Winchester, VA; nineteen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
The family received friends 6-8pm, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Rosedale Funeral Home at Martinsburg, WV.
The funeral services were held at 11am, Friday, April 26, 2013, at Rosedale Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was made in Paynes Chapel Cemetery, Berkeley County, WV.
