Rev. Elmore Todd was a Baptist minister and farmer. He married first, Mary J. Adams, with whom he had four children. Soon after Mary's death he married Elizabeth Amanda Boley; they had two daughters, both of whom died as infants. After Elmore's death Elizabeth married his brother, Harvey Rush Todd.
